Good news, moms with newborns: a new product has just come out that can help maintain order and a sense of sanity as your world is flipped upside down.
Glow Baby recently released “Baby’s First Journal.” This journal can be very helpful for moms that need a sense of organization when dealing with their infants.
“Baby’s First Journal” is designed to help moms keep track of many things, including feedings, sleeping, diapering, and vitamins/medicines. It also has a place for you to jot down any questions you may think of for your pediatrician.
This may seem like an unnecessary item, but many moms are finding it to be a useful tool for keeping track of things that they may otherwise forget as they are increasingly sleep-deprived.
The journal itself is both savvy and practical. It comes in three colors, and is small enough to fit easily in your purse or diaper bag. It also has a coil spine, so you can open it up and write in it if you only have one free hand.
Moms who have young children who are sick or have been in the hospital find this journal especially helpful, as they usually need to keep track of all the different medicines and health statistics of their children.
“Baby’s First Journal” aids in maintaining some kind of order in what can easily become chaos with newborn babies. It can help moms recognize schedules of their infants, as well as working as a tool of communication between parents and caregivers.
“Baby’s First Journal” can be found in several stores in the United States, or you can order it directly from www.glowbaby.ca.

Let's just hope that a bottle doesn't break in the diaper bag!

Good point hok917. Aside from this though, this seems like a great product that will make it easier for moms and pediatricians to notice patterns more quickly than relying on memory alone.

Definitely seems to be a useful tool. Even in the business world, using daily logs is a common tool to track performance. Also it will be nice to look back a year from now to see what you were doing with your infant!
